1. The channel type metal detector
At present, the most common metal detection equipment on the market is the channel type metal detector.
The channel of the detector is square, generally, it is equipped with a conveyor belt mechanism, which has an automatic rejection device or provides an alarm signal.
When the objects on the conveyor belt pass through the detector, once there is metal, it will be automatically rejected or stop conveying.
It is mainly for the on-line inspection of finished and semi-finished products, providing the final inspection before shipment.
① Split type: The advantage of the split type channel metal detector is that the belt is easy to install, especially when the channel metal detector is installed on the large equipment, the split type is not limited by whether the belt is installed or the installation method.
② Integrated type: The integrated channel metal detector is connected to the object conveyor belt, which is connected with the automatic rejection device and can be used in the production line, such as bagged materials and boxed products.
The falling type metal detector
The packaging requirements of some products can not contain metal, but considering the higher requirements such as tightness and light resistance, metal composite film must be used for packaging.
On account of that the metal composite film itself is metal, so if using the channel metal detector, the detection sensitivity will have a large deviation, or even will be unable to detect.
In view of the above reasons, testing before packaging may also be an option.
The falling metal detector was developed in response to the above situation, which is mainly used for the detection of flakes, capsules and granular (plastic particles, etc.) and powdery objects.
When these objects fall through the falling metal detector, once metal impurities are detected, the system will immediately activate the separation mechanism to eliminate suspicious objects.
Besides, it has the characteristics of simple installation, high sensitivity, convenient maintenance, high efficiency, stability and reliability.
